What is Individual Therapy?
Individual therapy is a space just for you—a private and supportive environment where you can talk openly about anything that’s on your mind. It’s a chance to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences with someone who listens without judgment and helps you make sense of things.
Think of it as a partnership. You and I will work together to understand what’s happening in your life and how you’d like things to change. The focus is entirely on you—your struggles, your goals, and what you need to feel better and move forward.
During our sessions, you can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out before you start; in fact, most people come to therapy because they feel stuck or overwhelmed and want help sorting through it. I’m here to guide you, offer tools and perspectives, and help you build skills to navigate life’s challenges more effectively.
It’s not about being “fixed” or “told what to do.” Instead, therapy is about empowering you to understand yourself better, make choices that feel right for you, and create the kind of life you want. Over time, it can lead to greater clarity, confidence, and peace of mind.

What to Expect

First Contact (Free Consultation)
Our first conversation will take place over the phone or via videoconference. We will discuss your needs and I will share with you my qualifications as well as my approach to supporting you. I will also answer any questions you may have and help you to determine if we are a good fit to work together.

Forms and Disclosures
Prior to our first session, I ask that you complete an intake packet. This packet will includes questions about your current and past experiences as well as your health history, symptoms, and goals. It will also include disclosure forms pertaining to privacy, confidentiality, and your rights as my client.

Initial Evaluation and Assessment
This evaluation is an opportunity for me to learn your story - your current struggles, what has worked and what hasn’t. We will discuss your goals and craft a personalized treatment plan.

Ongoing Sessions
Together we will determine the optimal frequency of our sessions and begin the process of fostering insight, growth and lasting progress.

Sessions are available in-person at my office located in Greenwood Village or via telehealth video conferencing anywhere in the state of Colorado.
Complimentary Consultation
This 15 minute phone call is a chance for me to hear your goals and aspirations for treatment, and begin the process of creating a tailored approach that resonates with your needs
Initial Intake - 90 minutes - $200
Ongoing Sessions - 50 minutes - $175
My services are direct, self-pay only. I accept credit cards, HSA cards and FSA cards. I can provide an itemized receipt or superbill that may allow you to get reimbursement from your insurance company if you have out-of-network benefits.
